Mahira Khan is one actress that Pakistan cannot get enough of and we last saw her on the local big screen nearly a year ago. Since then, people have been waiting to see what projects she signs on this year. While we already know that the actress will be appearing in Shoaib Mansoor’s next film, Verna, opposite singer-songwriter Haroon Shahid, we now also know about her second project opposite Sheheryar Munawar. The duo has previously worked together in Ho Mann Jahaan and various TV commercials so we know that they look good together.
Titled Saat Din Mohabbat In (SDMI), the film is a romantic comedy about a young man looking for true love in a crowded Karachi neighbourhood. It will be produced by filmmakers Meenu and Farjad of Zinda Bhaag and Jeevan Hathi fame and scripted by Fasih Bari Khan. The only thing that irks us about this film so far is the name: it sounds very similar to Shah Rukh Khan’s famous line in Kal Ho Na Ho, where he helps Saif Ali Khan win Priety Zinta’s heart. “6 din, larki in,” is what SRK famously says in that film and we hope to God that the film SDMI is a little more original than the title.
