Though his appearance in ADHM is no more than a small cameo, he has made more headlines than many others, who can’t reach such popularity despite a full-fledged film. It’s a fickle world after all.
Currently Khan is turning heads, thanks to the emergence of a smoldering black and white photo shoot he did with photographer Rohan Shrestha, which has gone viral.
Khan’s shoot is part of celebrity and fashion photographer Rohan Shrestha’s #whiteTseries campaign. Other than Fawad Khan, those who featured in the campaign include India’s current Test captain Virat Kohli, actors Malaika Arora-Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Sushant Singh, Tiger Shroff, Varun Dhawan, Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan and several others.
Aside from all this brouhaha, the actor has plenty of reasons to celebrate.
Apart from becoming a father (for the second time) this year, both of Khan’s films, Kapoor & Sons and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil have performed exceedingly well on the box office while the actor is still being linked to one Bollywood project or another. One recent story, for instance, suggests that Ram Gopal Varma had approached Khan to star in Sarkar 3 as Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson but had to be dropped after rising tension between India and Pakistan. Sources close to the actor have revealed that he will, in all probability, be hosting the upcoming Masala Awards in Dubai next month.
For Khan, this won’t be his first stint as host since Khan co-hosted the Lux Style Awards last year and the IIFA Rocks event earlier this year with Karan Johar.
