The recent past has seen a number of Pakistani actors and actresses treading across the border to try their luck in Bollywood and while some have been successful, others not so much. The same, however, cannot be said about Indian actors in Pakistan.

The recent past has seen a number of Pakistani actors and actresses treading across the border to try their luck in Bollywood and while some have been successful, others not so much. The same, however, cannot be said about Indian actors in Pakistan. In fact, director Kabir Khan made it a point to tell Pakistani fans that having Indian artists work in Pakistan would be no easy task as our industry is too nascent for their financial demands. Nonetheless, there have been exceptions in Naseeruddin Shah, Om Puri and Sonu Sood more recently. Joining this list is Indian TV actress Sara Khan, who is known for her serial Bidaai and her short stint in Bigg Boss.

According to the Times of India, the young actress will soon be traveling to Pakistan to star in an upcoming Pakistani TV serial opposite Noor Hasan. Rumours also suggest that the serial will be directed by none other than Sana Shahnawaz, the woman behind the hugely, albeit confusingly, popular Mann Mayal. This, however, isn’t the first time that Sara will be seen in a local production. The actress also played the main lead in Pakistani telefilm, Tujhse Hi Raabta, opposite Yasir Shah. Sara will be visiting in August, after she wraps up the shoot for her ongoing serial on Colors TV, titled Kawach.
