Model-turned-actress Sadia Khan, who recently shared a selfie with Akshay Kumar, revealed to Instep that she is in talks with an Indian production house for a possible role in a Bollywood film alongside Kumar.
Model-turned-actress Sadia Khan, who recently shared a selfie with Akshay Kumar, revealed to Instep that she is in talks with an Indian production house for a possible role in a Bollywood film alongside Kumar.
“I was called to meet Akshay. It’s an item song sort of thing for which I auditioned,” she had said earlier. However, in a latest conversation, Khan revealed to Instep that it’s not just a song, but a lead role for which she flew out to India.
“It’s a lead role alongside Akshay in the film titled Ikka,” Khan explained. “It’s a very good role and I found the character attractive.”
The actress also elaborated on why she and Maya Ali (who was also approached for the same role) were initially hesitant about doing the role. “Both Maya and I liked the character and this is the reason we went to India but we had some reservations regarding the role because there is a bold song in the film.”
According to Khan, the film has three songs in total. While Ali is out of the race, Khan is waiting to hear from the producers who have asked her to wait for three to four weeks since Kumar is on a family holiday these days.
