His latest, a feature film with Aditya Chopra in which he will be essaying a warrior. 15 years after Asoka, SRK will once again taken on a role that is being described as Aditya Chopra’s most ambitious undertaking and will cost more than any previous YRF production.
During Fan promotional spree, SRK had remarked that a film is definitely happening. “Aditya Chopra has a plan to do a film with me. I think I will start shooting from Aditya’s next film by end of 2017. All he has told me is the fact that is a very big project and I might have to sit for two months with Adi to prepare for the character. He told me that the shooting will be wrapped up in three months, but I will have to work with him on characters for two months prior to shooting for the film,” he had said.
For now though, Aditya Chopra is busy with Ranveer Singh-starrer Befikre in Paris while SRK has quickly and quietly moved onto his next, an Imtiaz Ali film in which he is essaying the character of a guide. Having shot for Gauri Shinde’s untitled next with Alia Bhatt, SRK has moved onto Imtiaz’s film but is refusing to divulge too many details just yet.
Rumours suggest that Anushka Sharma will star in the Imtiaz Ali film as SRK’s leading lady and the film will be shot across several European cities.
