Earlier this month, we reported that new-age actors Bilal Ashraf and Gohar Rasheed, who last starred together in 021, will feature in at least two upcoming Pakistani films together. While the first one is the much-talked about war drama, Yalghaar, the second project is lesser known.
Both actors have not revealed too much about the latter due to contractual obligation. What we do know is that Sana Javed will be playing the female lead alongside Ashraf and Rasheed.
When we contacted Ashraf, he confirmed the news to Instep in a brief conversation.
Meanwhile Sana Javed who will make her big screen debut with this untitled film initially didn’t reveal much about the project either, and called it a “big surprise” for everyone. However, upon further investigation, she did admit that the film has some sort of a love triangle that will follow these three actors. When asked about the presence of a triangle, Javed simply said, “sort of”.
While the cast stays mum on the plot, the film, according to its director, Aamir Mohiuddin is based on music and will be exploring the contrast between classical qawwali and modern pop music with a love story embedded in it.
Though Javed and Rasheed have starred together in several TV plays, she will be seen with Ashraf for the first time. To find out more about this love triangle, keep watching this space.
