The event will take place at Taj Palace Hotel where a gala reception has been arranged to honour them. It will be a starry affair as most of the invites have been sent out to Bollywood’s top-notch actors including Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, etc.
The charity gala is aimed at raising funds for three charitable organizations – Magic Bus, Doorstep, and Childline – and the royal couple will meet their representatives earlier that day. Reportedly, the evening will feature a performance by singer Kanika Kapoor of ‘Baby Doll’ fame.
This is part of the couple’s week-long official tour to India and Bhutan from April 10 - April 16. According to Popsugar, the two are scheduled to fly to New Delhi after wrapping up their trip in Mumbai and will pay a visit to the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated in 1948. This will be followed by a two-day trip to Bhutan and Kaziranga National Park, Assam, after which the couple will stop by Taj Mahal, Agra on April 16.
