One of Bollywood’s most talented and versatile faces of the ’90s, Juhi Chawla, was spotted in Karachi over the weekend and naturally social media went in overdrive.
According to reports, Chawla is in town to meet her family and attend a relative’s wedding. The actress took to twitter to announce her arrival and shared a picture with her family, saying, “In Karachi with my family; my aunty, cousins, nieces, nephews ... Such a lovely time!”
However, upon arrival the actress refused to reveal any details regarding the trip or her work. “It’s my private visit and I do not want to talk about this,” she told media at the Karachi International Airport. She also said that she will be spending four days here and that there is a lot of resemblance between Karachi and Mumbai. “Every time I take good memories with me when I come to Pakistan,” she added. From there on, people have been trying to get a glimpse of her at various places in town. The actress was also caught on camera shopping at the Ocean Mall in Clifton.
This, however, is not Juhi’s first trip to Pakistan. She is a regular visitor since she has family living in the city.
