'Internet services in Islamabad to be suspended'
Internet services will remain suspended in Islamabad tomorrow (Sunday) amid PTI protest in the federal capital, sources within Ministry of Interior said.
They said internet services will be suspended from 12am tonight.
However, mobile phone networks will remain operational while internet and Wi-Fi will be shut down in Islamabad and other major cities, according to the interior ministry sources.

PTI expected to unveil 'new protest plan'
The leadership of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is expected to change its plan for tomorrow's "final call" protest, as per sources, after all major roads leading to Islamabad were sealed off by authorities.
The sources told Geo News that the protest plan would be changed for Lahore and other districts of Punjab.
Due to the closure of roads to the federal capital, the former ruling party's lawmakers and ticket holders in Lahore are likely to organise a protest led by its Secretary General Salman Akram Raja at Batti Chowk in the provincial capital.
They added that other district leaders would also be asked to hold demonstrations in their respective areas. The protesters from different cities would head towards the federal capital after the reopening of the routes.

The roads in Islamabad have been blocked by placing containers at different places. Here is a list of arteries that are closed:
- Srinagar Highway closed at zero point
- GT Road to Islamabad closed at T cross

Preparations of D Chowk protest completed, says KP CM spokesperson
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's spokesperson, Faraz Mughal, said preparations for the protest in Islamabad’s D Chowk have been completed, and the PTI convoy from the province will arrive for the demonstration on Sunday.
They are taking 50 heavy machinery this time to remove the obstacles on the way, the spokesperson added.
Mughal assured that the procession is peaceful and “will remain peaceful”.

Bushra Bibi won't attend PTI "do-or-die" protest tomorrow: spokesperson
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan's wife Bushra Bibi will not attend the party's "do-or-die" protest scheduled for Sunday (tomorrow) due to illness, her spokesperson Mashal Yousafzai said on Saturday.
Sources told Geo News that the incarcerated PTI founder had sent a message to Bushra to stay out of political matters.
The sources closer to the former ruling party confirmed that the former first lady was busy participating in political activities since November 1 and also held meetings with the PTI leaders regarding preparations for the November 24 demonstration.

Authorities place containers to seal Islamabad's Chungi No 26
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad authorities have sealed Chungi No 26 by placing heavy shipment containers ahead of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest scheduled for Sunday (tomorrow).
The Islamabad-Peshawar GT Road was completely sealed via containers. A single-lane route was opened from Chungi No 26 for citizens to travel to the airport.
Additionally, Rangers personnel have been deployed at the entrance and exit points.

Majority of PTI leaders in favour of calling off Islamabad sit-in: Khawaja Asif
Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has revealed that majority of PTI leaders wanted the former ruling party’s planned demo in Islamabad on November 24 to be cancelled.
His remarks came amid the looming showdown as the government all set to thwart any attempt to enter the federal capital by the protesters and the PTI remained resolute in its plan for the “do-or-die” protest.
Talking to journalists, the defence minister said: “I can name those PTI leaders who wanted the sit-in to be cancelled.”
The government has devised its action plan in connection with the November 24 protests by the former ruling party, he added.

PTI reacts to Tarar's presser
ISLAMABAD: The PTI issued a reaction to Information Minister Attaullah Tarar's presser, saying that the Constitution is the guarantor of peaceful protest.
"The nation will not give up peaceful protest on anyone's wish," said the party spokesperson.
The spox also said that all rights like free movement, trade, employment, communication have been taken away from the nation.
