ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Shaukat Aziz has agreed to record his statement in high treason case, Federal Investigation Agency said Wednesday.
The former prime minister, in an email to FIA, said he would be available at his Dubai residence to be testified as he could not travel to Pakistan.
A two-member team of FIA comprises Additional DG Wajid Zia and Director Maqsoodul Hassan would record the statement of Shaukat Aziz in Dubai.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would give final approval of for traveling expenses to Dubai.
