ISAF equipment seized in Karachi
Customs officials in Karachi conducted raids at a private company’s warehouses and recovered 458 containers with equipment meant for ISAF’s use.

KARACHI: Hundreds of containers stuffed with equipment meant for use by International Security Force (ISAF) were seized in a raid on a private warehouse by Customs officials.
Customs officials in Karachi conducted raids at a private company’s warehouses and recovered 458 containers with equipment meant for ISAF’s use.
While some of the containers were empty others contained generators, water tankers, helicopter parts among other equipment.
Customs officials have been ordered to submit before a court a complete list of equipment seized on December 21.
The raids had been carried out on the directives of Custom and Excise court under section 185 of the Customs Act.
