ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Thursday said that Parliament would have to exercise its supremacy to resolve public problems.

He said this during his visit to the Parliament House today.

PPP senior leaders Sherry Rehman, Aitzaz Ahsan, Saeed Ghani, Qamar Zaman Kaira and others welcomed the party chairman.

Bilawal said that Parliament would have to extend its full support to government in order to root out the menace of terrorism.

“Democracy is the best solution of all issues,” he added.

The PPP chairman said there was a need to learn lessons from the past and the particular mindset would have to be eliminated to counter terrorism.

He demanded to constitute a Parliamentary security committee to ensure implementation and monitoring of the National Action Plan (NAP).

Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari also visited the new building of Central Secretariat and met with the old caretaker of Secretariat “Chacha Matloob”.

Parliamentarians and media men did not hesitate and grab the opportunity of taking selfies with the political celebrity with both hands on the occasion.
