For Fridays, the office hours will be from 10.00am to 1:00pm without break.
For public dealing, the SBP said that banks will operate 10:00am to 1:30pm without break.
On the other hand, on Fridays banking hours for public dealing will be from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
"After the holy month of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, the above timings will automatically be reverted to pre Ramadan-ul-Mubarak timings," said the SBP statement.
A day earlier, SBP had announced that it will remain closed for public dealings on the 1st of Ramadan which shall be observed as a “Bank Holiday” for the deduction of Zakat.
"All banks / DFIs / MFBs shall, therefore, remain closed for public dealing on 1st Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, 1442 AH," a statement from the central bank said.
