Former president Asif Ali Zardari and PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman spoke over the phone and discussed the political situation in Pakistan, sources said Wednesday.
The two leaders reportedly agreed to resolve differences within the Opposition alliance together.
Fazl was quoted as telling Zardari that all parties of the PDM should respect joint decisions. Fazl that according to a joint decision, the seat of the Leader of the Opposition in the Senate belongs to the PML-N.
Fazl hoped that the PPP would respect the joint decisions of the PDM, the sources said.
