Rangers raid Ziauddin hospital Nazimabad again

KARACHI: The Sindh Rangers conducted a raid on Zaiuddin Hospital in Nazimabad again here on Wednesday and examined important record of the facility.

Sources told Geo News that the paramilitary force sealed off entry and exit points of the facility during the raid.

They added that today’s operation was carried out in a particular department on the information provided by Dr Yousuf Sattar, detained deputy medical superintendent of the Ziauddin Hospital.

Dr Yousuf was rounded up during a raid at the hospital on August 29.

Sources further said the data of the billing and IT departments was also collected during today's raid.

The action against the Ziauddin Hospital has been underway for the last few days following the arrest of Dr Asim Hussain, the chairman of the Dr Ziauddin Group of Hospitals and a former petroleum adviser to the prime minister.
