ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister and leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Raja Pervaiz Ashraf on Saturday expressed contentment over the ongoing targeted crackdown on criminal elements in Karachi.

ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister and leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Raja Pervaiz Ashraf on Saturday expressed contentment over the ongoing targeted crackdown on criminal elements in Karachi.
Raja Pervaiz Ashraf was speaking in an exclusive interview in Geo News program ‘Jirga’ hosted by Salim Safi, the PPP leader.
The PPP leader said the ongoing operation in Karachi is yielding satisfactory results, adding, however, the reason why PPP has reservations in connection with Dr Asim Hussain’s detention is that the investigation is not being brought to light.
