Meghan Markle hated her wedding dress: Duchess despised following royal dress code
Meghan Markle abhorred her royal dress code completely because she thought it was conservative
Meghan Markle was not an ardent fan of her royal wedding dress. In fact, she despised it so much that she had no regard for royal dress code with time!
The Duchess of Sussex had an inclination towards more casual attire, rather than her royal dress code, which she reportedly abhorred completely.
As revealed by a royal insider, Meghan liked to wear flats, sneakers and denims on a day-to-day basis.
“She hated always having to be dressed to the nines as a royal and the old-fashioned rules and regulations — like wearing dresses below the knee," the source shared.
In addition, she used to flay royal protocol and “spend most of the day in sweats or yoga pants" when she was still a working royal.
This was evident when Meghan was visibly dressed differently than other members of the royal family at Wimbledon's 2019.
She was dressed in a pair of denims, as compared to Kate Middleton, which is why she was separated from the rest of the royal family.
W! Magazine reported that Meghan had no access to Royal Box because she was dressed in jeans.
Not just this, Meghan even criticised the act of having to curtsy to high-ranking royals and thought it was a “big problem.”
