Four Lyari gang war suspects killed in Karachi ‘encounter’
KARACHI: The Sindh Police claimed to have killed four suspects belonging to Lyari gang war in an alleged encounter here on Thursday morning.
According to police, the suspects, belonging to Sheraz Comrade group, were wanted in several cases of extortion and targeted killing including police officials.

KARACHI: The Sindh Police claimed to have killed four suspects belonging to Lyari gang war in an alleged encounter here on Thursday morning.
According to police, the suspects, belonging to Sheraz Comrade group, were wanted in several cases of extortion and targeted killing including police officials.
A search operation was carried out upon intelligence reports of the suspects’ presence near Truck Adda of Lyari’s Kalri area, said the police officials. All four suspects were gunned down during the exchange of fire, they added.
The suspects had allegedly killed a policeman in City Railway Colony and two in Lee Market and wanted in other cases of targeted killing as well.
The police also claimed to have recovered four hand grenades and two SMGs among other weapons form their possession.
