KARACHI: Daily Jang newspaper reporter Matloob Hussain Mosavi remains missing a week after his abduction by veiled men from his residence.
As per reports, the young journalist’s brother Syed Minhaj Hussain registered a case with Al Falah police on Saturday as police are unable to find the reporter even a week since his abduction last week from his residence in Karachi’s Salman Farsi Society.
Matloob had been taken away by unidentified armed men on March 30, 2019 at 4am after they jumped into his house, locked family members into a room and took him away.
Matloob’s brother had earlier described the men to be cloaked in plain clothes arriving in three vehicles of police, Toyota Prado and Toyota Vigo.
He had also added that his brother had no links to political or religious organizations and was a social activist bearing liberal and progressive views.
