KARACHI: On the directives of Inspector General (IG) Sindh, police personnel distributed cold water among the students and their parents during their examination amid extreme hot weather in New Karachi.
The police act is widely appreciated by the locals.
IG Sindh Dr Kalim Imam has directed the SSPs in all the districts to adopt measures to set up camps and distribute water among the people in the extreme hot weather in the metropolis.
The police chief has appreciated the police personnel for distributing water bottles among the students and their parents.
He also directed traffic police to adopt such measures at different sections.
