ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa will apprise parliamentarians on the recent strains between India and Pakistan.
As per reports, the briefing will be held on April 4 at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi with members of standing committees of the National Assembly and Senate on defence, being present at the occasion along with leaders from opposition parties including former ministers.
According to a notification issued by the national Assembly Secretariat, the delegation will be headed by chairman NA committee Amjad Ali Khan.
The rest of the members of the committee include Ramesh Kumar Vankwani, Jamil Ahmed Khan, Alam Dad Laleka, Riaz Hussain Pirzada, Ghous Bux Mahar, Khursheed Ahmed Junejo, Syed Aminul Haque, Salahuddin Ayubi, Rubina Irfan, Aftab Shaban Mirani, Amer Ali Magsi, Mohammad Khan Daha, Aurangzeb Khichi, Syed Faizul Hassan, Barjees Tahir, Ijaz Ahmad Shah, Riazul Haq, Tahir Sadiq and Chaudhry Farrukh Altaf.
