Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad has openly praised Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air Force’s fighter jet JF-17 Thunder.
In his first TV interview following three-day Pakistan visit, Mahathir said, “I know how strong is the Pakistan Army. It is very strong and the enemy will face defeat definitely. The rivals have to think twice before launching any misadventure against Pakistan.”
Pakistan is now capable of manufacturing aircraft, he said and added that the performance of Pakistan’s JF-17 Thunder fighter jet is the best.
Pakistani missiles can also carry nuclear warheads, he said.
Malaysia has expressed its interest in procuring JF-17 Thunder fighter jets and anti-tank missiles from Pakistan.
Mahathir Mohamad visited Pakistan and also participated in the Pakistan Day Parade.
Before leaving Islamabad, the guest was briefed on Pakistan Air Force fighter jet JF-17.
