The 30th Twenty20 match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) – 2019 is being played at the National Stadium, Karachi on Monday (March 11) at 7.00 pm. This will be the second match on the same day and the fourth successive match at Karachi.

This is also the last league match of PSL-4 after which all the six participating teams will complete their quota of ten matches each and then the event will go through the process of Eliminator 1 and 2, and Qualifier matches on the basis of the overall points and net run rate of the teams.

After that match, Karachi Kings moved up to third place on the table with ten points and a net run rate of -0.403 after winning five matches and losing four in their nine matches.

Peshawar Zalmi, on the other hand, are placed second with 12 points and an NRR of 0.566 as they won six and lost three in their nine matches, behind Quetta Gladiators who are on top of the table with 14 points. However, their NRR of 0.376 is lesser than the Zalmi, who have secured 0.566 and if Peshawar wins their last match against Karachi they will snatch the first position from Quetta.

The highest total by Karachi Kings is 190/5 which they made last night’s thrilling encounter against Quetta Gladiators.

Peshawar Zalmi’s highest total in the tournament is 177/5 which they scored against Islamabad United at Dubai on march 1.

The highest run-getter for Karachi Kings is Liam Livingstone, who has made 285 runs at an average of 35.62 with three fifties in nine matches while Imam-ul-Haq scored the most runs for Peshawar Zalmi – 198 at an average of 24.75 with two half-centuries in eight matches.

The highest wicket-taker for Peshawar Zalmi is their fast-medium bowler Hasan Ali, who captured 18 wickets (ave 12.72) in nine matches. He has taken four wickets in an innings on three occasions – the most by any bowler in the tournament.

The 19-year-old left-arm spinner, Umer Khan has claimed the most wickets for Karachi Kings. He has taken 13 wickets at an average of 13.92 in nine matches.
