Video: Akash Ambani, Shokla Mehta host starry reception after wedding extravaganza

Hosts of actors and filmmakers, including Amitabh Bachan, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Sonali Bendre and others joined the newlyweds at their reception in Mumbai.

MUMBAI: After Shloka Mehta and Akash Ambani's extravagant wedding yesterday(Saturday), families of both bride and the groom hosted a star-studded reception in Mumbai on Sunday.

Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta's wedding took place at the country's largest corporate house's newly-constructed convention centre in the Bandra Kurla Complex.

Hosts of actors and filmmakers, including Amitabh Bachan, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Sonali Bendre and others joined the newlyweds at their reception in Mumbai.

Like Saturday's wedding, many Bollywood celebs attended the event including  Shahid Kapoor, Kiara Advani and more graced the night in their best attires.

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna have arrived at the venue. They posed with Rekha , while  actor Shilpa Shetty arrived at the reception with her husband Raj Kundra. She was seen in a stunning pink dress.

Sachin Tendulkar with his wife Anjali Tendulkar and Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar attended wedding reception in Mumbai.

Bollywood beauty Pooja Hegde dons in a black coloured saree with an off-shoulder blouse, while  actor Karisma Kapoor have arrived for the reception. 

 At the wedding, filmmaker Karan Johar, Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone and many other actors made an appearance in their most stunning outfits. Other attendees included Google Chief Executive Sundar Pichai, veteran industrialists Ratan Tata and N Chandrasekaran, and global chief executives of the Bank of America, Samsung and J P Morgan.

Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani started a week-long Anna Seva (Food Service) programme in all the orphanages and old age homes in Mumbai on Wednesday, ahead of their son Akash's wedding. They served food to about 2,000 children.
