As the Aurat March returned to the country this year on International Women’s Day on Friday, on a much more colossal level than last year, every nook and corner of the country echoes with the voices of women suppressing the presence of patriarchal mindsets.
Much like last year, this year as well some of the posters and placards put across by the strong, resilient and unsurmountable women garnered attention and managed to poke the fragile male egos and the sentiments of those unable to see women rise as equals.
