Singer Adnan Sami has come forth defending himself against the backlash he received for making a tweet that praised the Indian armed forces.
Responding to trolls, Adnan said that his sincere loyalties stand with India.
"If I have sworn allegiance to you, by god, I’ll give my life to you. For a Pathan, his zabaan is a very important thing," stated Adnan.
The singer received immense flak for cheering for war while lauding the Indian army for launching what the Indian government calls a 'surgical strike against militants in Pakistan'.
Netizens were fumed over Adnan Sami's statements and called him an undercover ISI agent in India working for Pakistan.
