KARACHI : An accountability court in Karachi on Friday extended the physical remand of Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani till March 11 and handed him over to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
The hearing regarding assets beyond sources case was conducted against the speaker.
NAB prosecutor had filed a petition for the extension of physical remand which was opposed by Siraj Durrani’s counsel.
NAB plea was accepted by the court.
Furthermore, Agha Siraj Durrani’s brother is also likely to be detained by the authorities, as he has filed a petition in Sindh High Court (SHC) for protective bail.
