ISLAMABAD: Former Pakistani Test cricketer Shoaib Akhtar has saluted Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Army for their appropriate response to Indian aggression.
Shoaib took to Twitter saying, “The response to aggression is retaliation. A strong one as given by our brave soldiers. Salute to PAF and Pakistan Army.”
The former cricketer added “I hope we reach an amicable solution.”
Sharing his photo with brave soldiers of Pakistan Army, Shoaib Akhtar said, “As our PM Imran Khan and Military Spokesperson have repeatedly said in past few days that we don’t want war and have suggested several times to sit and talk. But if our sovereignty is challenged, an appropriate response was due.”
In a befitting response to Indian aggression, two Indian Air Force fighter jets were shot down by Pakistan for violating airspace on Wednesday, video of which has surfaced online.
