The 17th T20 match in the fourth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be played between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators at 04:30 pm at the Dubai Sports Club ground on February 27.
Quetta Gladiators are the most favourites as they are leading the points table with eight points, having won four of their previous five matches. In comparison, Lahore Qalandars are placed fourth on the points table with four points. They won two and lost three matches out of their five matches.
Both teams had earlier faced each other on February 23 at Sharjah where Quetta Gladiators recorded their fourth consecutive win before suffering from their only defeat so far, against Karachi Kings by six wickets.
The highest total by Lahore Qalandars is 204/4 against Multan Sultans, at Sharjah on February 22. This has been a record score by any team in the history of PSL. On the other side, the highest total by Quetta Gladiators is 186/5 against Karachi Kings at Sharjah on February 24.
The highest run-getter for Quetta Gladiators is Umar Akmal, who scored 200 runs in five matches with two fifties. He is the only batsman so far to reach 200-run mark in the tournament. The second highest scorer is Shane Watson, also from the Gladiators. He has made 186 in five matches with two fifties.
For Lahore Qalandars, the highest scorer is Fakhar Zaman, who made 163 runs with two fifties in five matches.
The highest wicket-takers are pacers Sohail Tanvir for Quetta Gladiators, and Rahat Ali for Lahore Qalandars as both have captured nine wickets each. They have bagged four wickets in an innings for one time each.
