KARACHI: A four-storey building in the Jaffar-e-Tayyar society collapsed in Karachi's Malir area on Monday, reported Geo News.
While rescue operation is underway, at least two bodies have been retrieved from under the debris with dozen others trapped.
According to area residents, some six families were living in the building that was constructed almost 30 years ago.
Meanwhile, four other injured are reported to have been rescued so far.
Taking notice of the incident, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail directed the city commissioner to speed up rescue efforts and save human lives at all costs.
