KARACHI: A 20-year-old final-year medical student, Nimra, died on late Friday when she received a bullet in head her in an apparent cross-fire between police and robbers in North Karachi locality Anda Mor.
A first information report (FIR) has been filed on Sunday against the killing of Nimra Baig.
It is reported that Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Central Police Arif Rao, says the case includes clauses of police encounter, murder and attempted murder, and has been registered on the state’s complaint.
According to the postpartum report it is revealed that the bullet fired was from a rifle fire arm. The bullet fired was from a big weapon which hit her straight in the head, leaving an approximately 2.5 cm deep wound.
