A 12-year old Pakistani student Raadeyah Aamir has been selected for the NASA internship, US Embassy in Islamabad said in a statement on Friday.
According to the statement, the student will attend the one-week program which includes training for next-generation Astronaut Training Experience.
Headquartered in Washington DC, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is an independent agency of the US government responsible for civilian space program as well as aeronautics and aerospace research .
