KARACHI: Former captain Shahid Afridi decided to leave Pakistan Super League (PSL) team Karachi Kings after the franchise did not retain him for the next season.
Afridi shared the news on his twitter handle after PSL revealed the list of retained players earlier today.
He wrote, “Thank you to @KarachiKings for a lovely time. Time for a new chapter in my @thePSLt20 journey. Will be following the #PSLDraft2018!”
The owner of the franchise replied to Shahid’s tweet thanking him for his time in the team and wishing him best of luck for the future.
PSL has shared the draft for the retained players for the next season today and the players draft for PSL 2019 will be held in Islamabad on November 20.
