MUMBAI: Ali Abbas Zafar-directorial ‘Bharat’ is Priyanka Chopra’s comeback in Bollywood after a hiatus of three years and the filmmakers are including some big names in the project.
According to recent media reports, veteran actress Tabu has also joined the star-studded cast of ‘Bharat’.
Ali Abbas Zafar, sharing the news on Twitter, posted:
He also informed an Indian daily that he had always wanted to collaborate with Tabu, “Ive been a huge fan of Tabu’s work and always wished to work with her. After several meetings with her, I’m happy it is finally happening with Bharat and am looking forward to the shoot.”
‘Bharat’ is the Hindi adaptation of South Korean film ‘Ode to My Father’.
It is slated to release next year on Eid.
