PTI lawmakers return to Sindh Assembly
KARACHI: Provincial lawmakers of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) arrived at the Sindh Assembly to attend Monday’s session.
The PTI had announced it would be returning to the assemblies after an agreement was reached with the government over the formation of the judicial commission to probe election rigging in 2013.

KARACHI: Provincial lawmakers of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) arrived at the Sindh Assembly to attend Monday’s session.
The PTI had announced it would be returning to the assemblies after an agreement was reached with the government over the formation of the judicial commission to probe election rigging in 2013.
PTI MPAs submitted a request with the Assembly Secretary to withdraw their resignations which were submitted in 2014.
PTI MPAs Samar Ali Khan, Khurram Sher Zaman and Hafizuddin Advocate speaking to the media said they did not want to fight with anyone rather wanted the system to improve which is why they had returned to the assembly.
PTI leader Hafizuddin Advocate said they had returned for the struggle of Pakistan. “We think that parliament and assemblies need to represent people. This is why we have returned.”
“We have returned to play the role of a true opposition and to ensure that our voice is heard on issues in the province,” said Samar Ali Khan.
The MPAs from the PTI also said they had returned to raise their voices against rigging and bogus voting.
