Pakistani actor Zara Noor Abbas had recently walked the ramp for Fnk Asia at Fashion Week Pakistan, with ample energy that had turned her into a laughing stock among some of Pakistan’s most prominent models.
Zara’s powerful walk may have directed a few mocking reactions towards her way, nonetheless, the ‘Khamoshi’ actor came forth blatant with her confidence elevated.
Taking to Instagram to post the video where some of the most famed Pakistani models can be seen impersonating the actor’s walk in a ridiculing manner, Zara’s take on the mocking behavior has brought her applauses from all around.
With cautiously stitched sentences that neither demeaned the women for the mockery or feeling humiliated herself, Zara took upon the opportunity to raise a significant issue that is destructive behavior women have towards other women.
Women don’t build women. They bash each other like this. It’s so sad for all the people who are trying to empower women. They don’t know that it is the women who don’t let each other grow," she stated.
In regards to her walk, Zara explained her ‘Warrior Princess’ look saying the fierce and theatrical attitude was brought on purposely. "That is why designers choose actors as showstoppers for their walks. To add more drama. Some liked it, some didn't," said Zara.
Celebrities like Kubra Khan and Sonia Mishal also jumped in on the Instagram post to provide words of encouragement, including Zara’s husband Asad Siddiqui.
