CAMBRIDGE: A soft robotic fish has been prepared to make its dive in the ocean to  peek in the marine life and reveal.

The think tank behind this swiftly moving robotic fish is from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Computer Science and Artificial Laboratory (CSAIL) and has named it SoFi.

Given its sensors for perception, a battery like the one used in a smartphone, and a waterproofed Super Nintendo controller among other simple integrals, SoFi is designed to swift like a real fish and change speed while its eye lens would capture high-resolution images and videos.

SoFi has its appearance made to look as real as a fish blended with silicone rubber and flexible plastic, and the head 3D-printed and filled with baby oil to reduce leakage.

SoFi already has had her test dives in the Rainbow Reef in Fiji so it is for sure that the device can swim in depths of more than 50 feet for forty minutes of time span.
