Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi won hearts of his team supporters in Sindh as the defending champions arrived in provincial capital Karachi.
Afridi sent out a tweet in Sindhi language on Friday thanking the people of Sindh for supporting Peshawar Zalmi.
He expressed the hope that his team would get support of local fans, vowing to "show fabulous performances".
The tweet eared over two thousands likes and hundreds of retweets.
Karachi, home to 20 million people and commercial hub of the nuclear armed nation, is all set to host the final of the third edition of the Pakistan Super League.
Thousands of police and paramilitary troops have been deployed to ensure the security for the final match which would be played between Zalmi and Islamabad United.
