SHARJAH: Defending champions Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and elected to bat first against Karachi Kings in their must-win game to keep alive in Pakistan Super League at Sharjah Cricket Stadium here on Thursday.
Kings are gunning for a top two spot and their effort was given a slight boost by Lahore Qalandars who brushed aside Quetta Gladiators.
Two wins from two games will assure them a spot in the top two. In that sense, this is a must-win.
But for their opponents, Peshawar Zalmi aA loss today will end their push for a top-four spot. A win keeps them alive.
