NEW YORK: The fun theatre to Bubblelandia, the ‘Underwater Bubble Show’ was where Mr. B went fun-filled with a whimsical ambiance as he took a leap from his routine and meetings for a rather quirkier escapade.
The colorful showcase goes inspired by the famous Canadian troupe “Cirque du Soleil”, which unfolds various stage effects using the latest laser technologies, snow cannons, soap bubble tornadoes, theatrical fog, gigantic smoke rings, smoke-filled soap bubble machines, optical illusions and many other surprises for the voyage.
Co-creator and director Enrico Pezzoli, had the event justified for everyone, the kids in seek of epic fantasy and the elders that accompanied them at the George Theatre this week.
In fact, it attempts to extend its reach everywhere, as Pezzoli explains “Our main goal was to produce a show that could tour the world without any barriers, especially language” which is why one can enjoy elements of theater that could work without speech, like mime, puppets, physical comedy, sand painting and the spectacular use of soap bubbles in multiple artistic ways.
“Even in parts of the world where the culture may be different from our own, the result is always the same, with everyone cheering and applauding”, he added for the wondrous underwater show where the dancers and acrobats serve as “small colorful fish” chasing Mr. B and each other inside the aquarium, which was seen full of seahorses, dragon fish, starfish, mermaids and other creatures.
