SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops, in their fresh acts of state terrorism, martyred five Kashmiri youth and injured several others in Budgam and Sopore areas on Thursday.

According to Kashmir Media Service, bodies of four youth were recovered from the debris of a residential house destroyed by the troops during a siege and search operation at Futlipora in Pakherpora area of Budgam.

Over a dozen people including a minor boy, Sameer Bashir Mir, were injured after Indian forces’ personnel fired bullets, pellets and teargas shells on anti-India demonstrations in the area.

The troops killed another youth during a crackdown operation at Sagipora in Sopore town.

The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, in a statement in Srinagar paid glowing tributes to the martyred youth. He said that the criminal silence of the world community was the sole reason for the unabated bloodshed of Kashmiris at the hands of the Indian troops.

The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League in a statement also paid homage to the martyred youth.
