ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Saturday linked more than seventy thousand proposed polling stations with Google Map.
This was informed during a high level meeting held in Islamabad with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Justice Sardar Muhammad Raza in the chair.
The link will help the voters to find map of polling stations location and distance from their residence online to cast their vote.
It was briefed in the meeting that there are 758 schools in Punjab and 700 schools in Sindh which lacked advance system. These polling stations will be provided the basic facilities before the next general elections.
CEC and other members of the meeting lauded the work done by the employees and also decided to display the Google linked polling stations to the political parties and media in future.
