Sam Elliot gets all the limelight in the new trailer of ‘The Hero’

The Orchard has unveiled the first official trailer of ‘The Hero’ that stars the heroic, Sam Elliot, directed by Brett Haley.

Sam Elliot has played an “aging Western icon with a golden voice, but his best performances are decades behind him." The actor and director meet and shine on the screen once again for the newly announced The Hero.

The film also stars Sam Elliott, Krysten Ritter, Laura Prepon, Nick Offerman, and Katharine Ross. The movie is filmed positively until a surprise cancer visits the lead character of the movie bringing his priorities close to the focus where it is seen a visible struggle of fixing the relationship with his daughter.

It seems like Brett Haley prioritize older actors more than the younger ones. His featured debut, I’ll See You in My Dreams,” starred Blythe Danner as a widow and former singer seeking a new tenure on life.

The Hero opens on June 9.
