LOS ANGELES: Is pop sensation Justin Bieber slowly morphing into The Real Slim Shady? As the former turns to sporting glasses, peroxide hair and wearing white tee shirts, the world can't help but notice the uncanny resemblance to the Eminem of old.
Eminem and Justin Bieber have to be two of the most popular musicians of all time. While the latter has attained a legendary status for his contributions to rap and hip hop, the former has made his mark as the face of pop music around the world with stellar hits such as Baby and Boyfriend. As Bieber changes his look to a one which bears uncanny resemblance to that of Eminem with similar blonde dyed hair, glasses and tattoos, the world can't help but compare the two looks.
Bieber has admitted to being a fan of the iconic rapper, covering two of his songs in 2015 at a London club. During a Detroit concert more than three years ago, Bieber covered Eminem's arguably most popular song till date, Lose Yourself.
However, there's not much similarity when it comes to both artists' work. While Bieber is the poster boy for young female fans around the world owing to his soft love songs, Eminem is much despised and hated for his anti-gay and misogynist slurs. The artist has attacked boy bands and pop musicians such as N Sync, The Backstreet Boys, Madonna, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey and Michael Jackson in the past. He has also referred to pop music as 'corny' music in the past.
