“Security was top class, you couldn’t ask for better security system. [I]Thank army for the way they dealt with things,” he said in a video posted on Twitter by Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi .

The West Indian player thanked the army chief for the acknowledgement and jokingly said: “General, I wouldn’t mind coming back to Pakistan if I am gonna get a metallic badge on my shoulder because I am a general in Jamaica that’s why I wore my army suit in Pakistan . Whenever you are ready to let me be part of the Pakistan army, I am ready because I am soldier in Jamaica and I want to be part of Pakistan army. Thank you again and I salute you”.
The West Indian player said he had lovely sleep in Lahore and cricket should definitely come back to Pakistan. And I will continue to promote this until I die.
“I spend a lot of time in Jamaica with Pakistanis. They’re all my friends. So I’m Pakistani in my heart. It didn’t take much for me to decide to come to Pakistan.
“For me it’s more than just me coming to Pakistan and playing game of cricket.”
