RAWALPINDI:Lieutenant General Shahid Baig Mirza was posted as Corps Commander Karachi, said a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Wednesday.
According to the statement, he is currently serving as Military Secretary at the Genera Headquarters. It said that Lieutenant Gen Ghayur Mehmood will replace Lt. Gen Shahid Mirza Baig as Military Secretary. Lt Gen Mehmood is presently serving as Chief of Logistic Staff at the General Headquarters.
The Pakistan army was expected to see postings and promotions after change of command on November 29 when Gen Raheel Sharif handed over baton of command to Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa after serving the military for three years.
