RAWALPINDI: Three young girls and a teenage boy were killed and a man sustained injuries in Indian shelling in Khoiratt sector along the Line of Control (LoC) on Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Rabia,4, daughter of Sagheer, Faiza, 7, Shazia,8 and Shahzad 16, daughters and son of Rafi. The injured was identified as Mahmood 24, son of Rafi.
The victims of the Indian shelling belonged to the Singhala village. Meanwhile, the Indian troops also resorted to unprovoked shelling at Chakoti sector and firing at two points (Tander and Baroh) of Bhimber sector along the LoC.
The Pakistan Army responded in the same coin to the unprovoked firing and shelling from across the LoC. According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistani troops had targeted Indian posts in retaliation to the unprovoked firing and shelling in a befitting manner.
