KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that PPP always respect and promotes the interfaith harmony, every citizen of Pakistan deserves equal rights to perform their religious rituals freely and frequently.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was talking with Hindu community during his visit at Shiv Temple at Clifton Karachi on the eve of Diwali celebration.
The PPP Chairman attended Diwali rituals and other religious rites. Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah,President PPP Sindh and Provincial Minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Senator Sherry Rahman, Provincial Minister and President Karachi Hindu Panchayat Mukesh Chawla, Advisor to CM for Information Moula Bux Chandio, Special Assistant to CM on minorities affairs Dr. Khatumal , MNA Ramesh Lal and others were also present on the occasion.
Bilawal said that minorities of Pakistan have played the key role for the development and prosperity of the country and fortifying the democracy.
He further said that PPP believes that minorities are assets of the country and blooming flower in the bouquet of Pakistan.
On the occasion, special prays were offered for the martyrs of Quetta police training centre. Bilawal Bhutto intermingled with Hindu Community and shared Diwali greetings.
