KARACHI: Rangers conducted an operation in the city's restive Lyari area and killed one gang-war suspect.
According to Rangers spokesperson, an exchange of fire took place between the law enforcement agencies and a suspect in Lyari's Sangoleen area during a search operation. A man identified as Younis Baloch, was gunned down by Rangers while two of his supporters managed to escape.
Police conducted an operation in Lyari's Baghdadi area and took into custody a suspected who was in an injured state. Two suspects were also arrested by police from Defence while a search operation was conducted in hotels located at the Cantt railway station.
Eleven suspects were taken into custody during the search operation and were shifted to a local police station.
