Protest in US city against Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir
HOUSTON: Scores of people staged a protest rally in front of Consulate General of India in Houston against the human rights abuses and violence against Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir.
Participants criticized India for continuous occupation of Kashmir and registered their protest against Indian forces. A large number of Kashmiris gathered from all over Texas in front of Indian Consulate in Houston.
Friends of Kashmir chairperson Ghazala Habib described 26th of July as a catastrophic day in Kashmir where extreme violence was unleashed against peaceful civilians in Kashmir.
She said that they want to bring this cruelty by Indians to world and to United Nations..
The protest rally organized by Friends of Kashmir was also addressed by Dr. Rakhshinda, Haiqa, Ishrat Hussain, Rafaqat Hussain, Sardar Nasir Khan, Zubair habib, where they appealed to United Nations to play its role,
They thanked Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Shareef for highlighting the naked aggression against peaceful citizens in Kashmir by Indian forces and for presenting the plight of Kashmiris in his United Nations speech.
